Krissy Navrat

Krissy Navrat is a writer, educator, and content developer with a deep passion for connecting people to the outdoors. She has spent many summers in northern Minnesota, where she guided canoe trips in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and led backpacking adventures along the Superior Hiking Trail. In Vermont, she supported efforts to expand access to Lake Champlain by aiding in the development of youth programs focused on boatbuilding, rowing, and wilderness expeditions for a local nonprofit. Now based in the Adirondacks, Krissy spends her time exploring the region and sharing her love for this remarkable wilderness.

Jane Hooper

Jane is the communications manager at ROOST, working with media outlets to share information about the Adirondack region. She grew up in the area, attended university in Canada; living there for a number of years before returning to the area. She lives near Elizabethtown with her amazing teenagers and significant other.
