Skate with PRIDE!

Put on your flashiest figure skating attire and meet us in the USA Rink for the Adirondack Winter Pride Skating Party! Hosted on Sunday, March 9 from 4-5:30 p.m., this event wraps up a weekend of fun events. As Winter Pride's grand finale, we're doing it big!

Glide along the ice under rainbow lights. Glitter and glam will pair perfectly with a soundtrack of Pride anthems. Think of it like a Pride parade on ice!

Adirondack Winter Pride is all about building and celebrating community, so we're welcoming EVERYONE to this event! Skate rentals will be available for free.

Huntington Lecture Series

Adirondack Inventory and Monitoring Camera Trap Network

Thursday, August 8th, 7pm

Join Paul Jensen, wildlife biologist with NYS DEC to learn more about the Adirondack Inventory and Monitoring Camera Trap Network that began in the 2020 pandemic. The network’s goals are to collect and share data on wildlife populations, monitor species particularly sensitive to climate change, and to give SUNY College of Environmental Science and Foresty students in the region real-world training.

All lectures begin at 7pm at the Adirondack Interpretive Center and are free thanks to the support of the Adirondack Park Institute.

54th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair

The Schroon Lake Association will be holding its 55th Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 10:00am - 4:00pm. This extremely popular fair is held in the Town Park overlooking Schroon Lake.  All the profits that the SLA derives from the Fair go toward our continuing efforts to protect and maintain the health and welfare of the lake (e.g., hiring a certified lake manager as a consultant, funding scientific studies of the lake water, underwriting the fees involved in CSLAP and ensuring that there are sufficient funds for milfoil harvesting).
