Total Solar Eclipse at Frontier Town Gateway

Frontier Town is open for the Total Solar Eclipse! 

Situated conveniently off Exit 29 of the Northway, Frontier Town Gateway will be welcoming visitors with accessible parking, restroom facilities, a variety of hot and cold foods, refreshing beverages including coffee, and much more!

When will the eclipse start?

The partial eclipse kicks off at 2:13 p.m. Prepare to be awestruck as totality envelops the sky at 3:26 p.m., lasting for an impressive 1 minute and 59 seconds.

Eye Safety

For your safety and optimal viewing experience, eclipse glasses will be available at the North Hudson Town Hall. Don't miss this rare opportunity to witness the wonders of nature at Frontier Town during the Total Solar Eclipse!

EV Chargers and Gas Stations

Winter Harvest Dinner

Join us for a unique farm-to-table dining experience, the Winter Harvest Dinner! This special event will feature a 5-course dinner crafted with locally sourced ingredients from area farmers, perfectly paired with Paradox Brewery's craft beers.

Throughout the evening, local farmers will share insights into their sustainable practices, while our team breaks down the flavors and pairing notes of each beer.

Community Harvest Picnic

Come celebrate the local community!

The Town of Newcomb is sponsoring a Community Harvest Picnic on Saturday, October 5th from 11 am to 2 pm, which will be held at the Lilbern Yandon Memorial Recreation Field. 

Join the Town for a day filled with delicious food and drinks, exciting games, and lively music. There will also be a Touch-a-Truck event FREE.

This is a great chance to connect with fellow community members and enjoy the beautiful autumn weather.

Adirondack Day at the AIC

Show your appreciation for New York’s unique and treasured public lands by participating in Adirondack and Catskill Park Day here at the Adirondack Interpretive Center! Volunteer with us for an hour or two at the AIC to help us begin to restore the wildflower gardens and clean up the paths. BETA's Wilmington Mountain Bike Festival

BETA's Wilmington MTB Festival

The BETA's Wilmington MTB Festival is 3-day celebration with on-site camping, live music, local food & beer, group rides for all abilities, shuttles, a kids MTB race, and
25+ miles of beautiful Adirondack-style single track riding.  The event is a major fundraiser for the Barkeater Trails Alliance (BETA) and proceeds support the trails!

Festival Schedule

The 2025 schedule will be available closer to the event date. The event will be held Friday, August 29 through Sunday, August 31.

Live Music

Live music is a highlight of the community festivities at the Wilmington MTB Fest each year. 2025 artists will be announced closer to the event.

Location & Directions

The festival village is located at the Wilmington Recreation Park, located just off Springfield Road near the center of town.  Once you arrive in Wilmington, look for "Bike Fest" signage which will be located at all intersections to direct you toward the festival village.
