Tamilia Peppercorn grew from a simple idea: find a place that feels like home, and fill it with things worth discovering. We landed in Schroon Lake because of its warmth, its community pride, and the way people here genuinely look out for each other.

With over 40 years of retail experience between us, we pour that love of the find into every shelf and corner of the shop. We source with intention — organic, handmade, small-batch, local — because we believe what you bring home should mean something. We are women-owned, independently operated, and deeply happy to be part of this community...

Welcome to the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts new online shop. Start shopping today and have a bit of “Blue” to brighten your day! Given the ever-changing nature of the current health crisis, we have not set an opening date for our 2020 season. While we cannot open our doors just yet, we wanted to be sure you have access to your favorite artisan hand-crafted goods.

We pride ourselves on being a specialty shop featuring the creations of our neighboring craftspeople. We often purchase their items directly, or offer consignment opportunities resulting in 70% of the purchase price going back to the artist. Last year, $8,000 went back to our local and regional artists. Who knew the Arts Center was such a powerful economic engine?

Please note: Items in our shop are unique and often one-of-a-kind. If you desire multiples of a certain item, we will gladly make arrangements with the artisan.
