We offer two vacation rentals on the property.
The Pilot’s House and The Tamarack

Our lodging is available on an individual nightly basis.
The Pilot House is Pet Friendly and Smoke Free.  We try to book our vacation rentals by the week only in July and August. If we get close to July we will break down unfilled weeks. See cancellation policy below.

Reservations, Cancellation Policy: To secure your reservation with Cloudsplitters you can send a 50% check deposit or give us your credit card information. If you choose to use credit we do not charge the card. Instead we hold your info in the event of a chargeable cancellation. If you cancel your reservation and we could have filled the same dates with another guest you will be charged the full amount for your stay. We will notify you if we have another guest interested in lodging on the same dates you have reserved. This is to make sure you understand this policy and to confirm that you still plan on staying with us. If you cancel and we can fill the same or all dates you reserved you will only be charged for the vacant dates as a result of your cancellation.

Check-In: There is no need to “check-in” but you are welcome to join us in the Outfitters’ store. Summer hours are 9am to 5pm. Knock on our back door if you need something before or after business hours. During the winter, always come to the house.

Check-Out: We do ask that you let us know when you are leaving so we can complete housekeeping tasks before our next guest’s arrival. As you leave, make sure you tidy up as you found it. You are responsible for cleaning the kitchen and removing your perishables from the refrigerator. Dishes need to be washed, dried and put away. Please leave the used beds unmade or stripped. We clean and disinfect the bathroom top to bottom, wash the linens, make the beds, and vacuum the entire facility. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Payment Policy: If we have taken your credit card information and you want to pay for your lodging with the same card we still ask that you come in so we can physically run the card through our terminal. Card processing fees are high and it costs us more to key the information than it will if we swipe the card. If possible we prefer payment in cash or check so we can avoid the processing fees all together. You can pay for your balance due at any time during your stay or when you check out.

Damages: We are honest hard working people just like you, we can’t absorb damage cost like a big hotel chain. We expect our guests to self-report any damages and pay a reasonable replacement fee. 

Television: Both units have Roku streaming service. Bring your own passwords to stream other services.

WIFI: Wi-Fi is available in both units.

In the Winter: Please keep the windows closed. Heating overhead in the winter is substantial.

Hasbrouck's Rentals offer two year-round lakefront rentals and one new rental with beach/dock access on Schroon Lake's west shore. A short walk into the village and close to the Schroon Golf Course.   

Historic Adirondack Great Lodge which has all original features, including massive wood burning fireplaces and two great rooms to rent for meetings or small events. Plenty of cozy places to relax and enjoy your time. Private entry into the Lodge wing of the house. Mini food area in the guests' great room. Lux linens, custom soaps, private spring water, heating and air conditioning. Coffee and tea service. WIFI, custom pool table, tv, games, yard games, kayaks and hiking trails all on site. Free parking, boat parking area, and electric car charging. 32 acres of manicured grounds and forested trails on the bank of the Schroon River. Swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, forest bathing or star gazing.  Two large fire pits with Adirondack chairs. Mountain and river views. This is a peaceful, adult get-away. Not suitable for children or pets. Smoke free. BYOB, food and drinks. Refrigeration available.

Lodging Available:

• Four large en suite rooms in the Lodge (more rooms available in the house for full lodge event rentals.)
• Three large en suite rooms in the Carriage House. 
• Some rooms have fireplaces. All have full luxury baths and sitting areas. Plenty of large windows with beautiful views.

Glamping Rentals:

• Four -15 foot furnished glamping tents available for rent nightly w/full bathroom for tenters @ $100/night linens provided.
• Open areas for tent or r/v camping on the grounds @$50/night

Event/Private Event Space:

• Sally Miller Smith Prohibition Tavern. Beautiful, historic tavern, complete with full bar and food prep area, seating, Large stone fireplace, stone stairway to gardens, seating for 50 inside. No food service on site; use of a caterer or bring your own food/drink.
• Wedding Meadow with rustic ceremony area available and massive grassy areas for caterer and reception tents. Rent by the day or weekend for your needs. Owner will work with you to assist with set up. Grounds hold 150 people.

Quiet hours between 11pm and 8 am. No loud music for individual rentals. No smoking on the grounds. Event rentals are not included when discussing of the peaceful enjoyment of the all!
