A well-established part of Schroon Lake's lodging history, Starry Night Cabins was originally built in the 1930’s by the Rawlins family and was appropriately named “Rawlins Motel.”  The property welcomed visitors under that name until shortly after the former owners purchased the property in August of 2001. The new name captures the peacefulness and tranquility of the night air and the clear, crisp night skies and bright stars the Adirondacks are famous for. 

Since those early days, the facilities have undergone some major renovations as part of an ongoing project to improve comfort and convenience. Loon Cabins is located on the northern end of the pristine 9-mile historic Schroon Lake.  Our three cozy cabins are the perfect place to kick back, relax, and take in the Village of Schroon Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.

The Loon Cabins were originally built in 1945 as part of the Rawlins Cabins and Cottages. The cabins have since been updated with modern amenities, but designed to maintain their vintage vibes.
