Adirondack Birch Tree Cottage is great for families with kids! This modern, rustic vacation rental in downtown Indian Lake is the perfect getaway retreat with lots of room to spread out and enjoy easy access to Adirondack mountains, lakes, and forests.

There are three bedrooms upstairs and an open living room, kitchen, large artist studio, office, and porch downstairs. In the backyard, there is a beautiful lawn with a small orchard. This is a non-smoking cottage.

We provide six sets of towels and cotton sheets for two double and two single beds. Two single couches are also available.

East Bay Cottage

Home of the annual East Bay Fishing Contest. This two bedroom, year-round lakefront cottage sleeps five on peaceful Lake Adirondack. Located in a private setting, with a boat and large dock. Enjoy Direct TV, a picnic table, an outdoor grill, great fishing, hiking, and spectacular sunsets over the water. Everything is immaculate!

Prospect Point Cottages

New cottages on Blue Mountain Lake, some with fireplaces, all with full kitchens, porches, outdoor barbecues, and fire rings. Located directly on Blue Mountain Lake with a 200-foot sand beach, conference building with piano and fireplace, free use of canoes, rowboats, and paddleboats, free wireless internet and cable TV.

The Hedges on Blue Mountain Lake

The Hedges on Blue Mountain Lake is a well-known Adirondack landmark that has been enjoyed by individuals and families as guests for generations, and now welcoming more than 1000 guests each season. Situated on 12 acres of pristine Adirondack woods, with 1600 feet of waterfront, 

The Hedges has more than 30 lodging options, including fourteen lakeside and non lakeside cabins, five lodge suites, twelve lodge rooms, a full-service dining room serving breakfast and dinner daily; and boats, docks, a beach, tennis court, activities pavilion and a game room available for guest use from early June until mid-October.

The natural setting and Central Adirondack location provides the opportunity for each guest to participate in an abundance of activities ranging from mountain hiking and exploring to just relaxing with a good book seated in the shade by the shoreline!

The Crow's Nest

The Crow’s Nest gift shop is open whenever the Front Office is staffed, typically 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. The store is focused on regionally-made products, featuring works of artists and craftspeople from the Adirondacks, New Hampshire, Maine, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and New York.

Hemlock Hall

Hemlock Hall is a historic lakefront lodge and family resort on the beautiful north shore of Blue Mountain Lake, in the heart of the Adirondack Park. It is one of a few historic camps from the Gilded Age, reminiscent of a Great Camp, that continues to welcome guests year after year. Nestled in the mountains of upstate New York, on the beautiful north shore of Blue Mountain Lake, Hemlock Hall provides an escape from the bustle of everyday life. Step back into simpler times, unwind, and reconnect with nature and family and friends at a historic Adirondack resort.

The main lodge (est. 1898) houses 8 guest rooms, two common sitting rooms, an original fireplace, the main dining area and an expansive wraparound porch. Throughout the 8-acre property there are 4 “motel” units and 10 cabins, ranging in size from 1 – 3 bedrooms. Hemlock Hall is situated on 500 feet of waterfront with a large beach and swimming area, a fishing dock and a collection of boats (kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, SUPs, row boats) for guests’ enjoyment.

At Hemlock Hall we operate on a Modified American Plan, which includes a hearty Adirondack breakfast and a traditional, homestyle dinner. Planning on a hike or paddle? Bagged lunches are available for a nominal fee, and throughout the day snacks and refreshments are available in the Main Lodge. We also take outside guests for breakfast and dinner, just be sure to call ahead to confirm availability.

Curry's Cottages

Family owned and operated since the early 1900s, Curry’s Cottages has seven house keeping cottages on the shore of Blue Mountain Lake. Each cabin has excellent views of the lake and surrounding mountains, with many just a few feet from the waters edge. Each cabin is equipped with full kitchen, heated, and have hot water. Large sand beach and swim area for guests to use.

Rentals are available Memorial Day through mid-October. July and August weekly rentals preferred. Please visit our website for additional information and photos.

Cabins at Chimney Mountain

Open year round, we have nine rustic cabins tucked away from civilization. Located on the 200-acre Kings Flow Lake, at the base of the famous Chimney Mountain in the Siamese Ponds Wilderness Area, Indian Lake NY. The cabins accommodate 1-15 people, are completely furnished, have full kitchens, contain a fireplace, and you don't have to leave the property to hit the trails. Seven trails are accessible directly from the property with over 15 miles to explore!  

Guests must provide their own linens (bed sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, dish towels), unless requested when booking for a small fee.
Kayaks and rowboats are available on property, but guests must bring their own life jackets.
 

Blue Heron Cove

Lakefront cabin on Lake Adirondack, 15 feet from lake shore. Great views, 100+ feet of private lake front, privacy, quiet, wildlife, large property with wooded and cleared areas, apple tree, shade trees, wild flowers, flowering shrubs, private dock. Adirondack Lake is a small, quiet lake. 

Cabin set back about 150 feet from a quiet road (the road dead ends 1/2 mile past our driveway). 

A perfect place for a quiet retreat, bird watching, star gazing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, reading, writing, photography, and as a base for exploring the Adirondacks. Great hiking within 15 minutes (including Blue Mountain, Snowy Mountain, Chimney Mountain) . Shallow lakefront ideal for children. Deep water raft a few minutes swim or paddle away. 

Watch eagles, loons (and hear their haunting call), ducks, an occasional otter. 

Fully equipped, simply and comfortably furnished cabin with full large eat-in kitchen, full bathroom with tub, enclosed porch, living room, two bedrooms. Canoe, rowboat, private dock, lakefront outdoor fire ring, BBQ, outdoor furniture, heat, phone. Rollaway bed provided.

Although we do not have wheelchair ramps, there is only one step to the cabin door. We have had several renters in wheel chairs in the past who reported that the set-up worked for them. If you have special needs, please check with us to see if it is appropriate for you. 

The property setting is very private; you will see several docks from our lake shore; the only houses you can see around the lake are about a mile away. 

We have two cabins on the property and they are close together. We only rent one; the other one is for the owners use..The owners may be there when someone checks in on Saturday, but they will leave the next day or the owners may arrive on Friday night and be there for check-out on Saturday. Nobody but the renters will be there at other times unless it has been discussed with the renters in advance, before the rental is confirmed. 

Town of Indian Lake has two golf courses, restaurants, movie theater, small grocery stores, crafts galleries, farmers market, laundromat, rafting, outdoor stores, general store, marina, library, post-office, health center, and a large lake (Indian Lake) ideal for speedboats, water skiing, exploring.
