At Brookside Hops & Hoagies, we believe in making hoagies that are fun to eat and easy to carry. We also strive to provide excellent customer service to make sure each visit to our shop is memorable.

Our menu features items like the Italian Stallion hoagie. This classic sub features Boars Head Italian deli meats and cheeses, a tangy horseradish sauce, and an oil & vinegar mix. It is a unique blend of cultures and flavors that make it one of the most classic hoagies around.

With Johnny’s years of experience working in the food industry in Long Lake, New York [particularly at The Long View Lodge], John, Ben, Nate and Matt decided to open Brookside Hops & Hoagies to bring a new, casual, beer and sandwich shop to the area. It is not only a place where customers can grab a delicious bite, but also where they can enjoy local high-quality beers and a unique dining experience. Eat in, Beer Garden or Deck.

We are passionate about our hoagies and we make sure to have quality ingredients, like Boars Head Meats and the freshest ingredients so that each sandwich is perfect. Whether you choose to eat-in or take home, we guarantee the most flavorful, freshest hoagies around.

Sticks & Stones Wood Fired Bistro & Bar

On Saturday, 11/28, the much loved Adirondack restaurant, Sticks and Stones, was tragically lost to a fire. The overwhelming support from the surrounding communities has been truly moving. If you would like to help the staff and owners directly affected by this tragedy, please see the support options listed below.

Sticks & Stones ownership has partnered with the Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce to maintain a single point of contact, manage fundraising efforts, and disburse funds on our behalf. The Chamber has created an online donation page at https://square.link/u/GW90c2zv. Please note that this is the only authorized online donation platform. You may also drop off donations at the Chamber, or mail checks (made out to the Chamber) to: Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 726, Schroon Lake NY, 12870. The Chamber's operating hours are Tuesday-Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm. We ask that any businesses or organizations holding a fundraising event also direct the proceeds to the Chamber. All funds will be deposited in a discretionary bank account and 100% of your donations will go toward support of its employees.

Sticks & Stones is a casual dining gallery café featuring fresh food and a full bar in a rustic Adirondack setting. Our warm interior features beautiful décor including rustic artisan wood and stone, a crackling hand laid stone fireplace, wood burning oven, craft beer, boutique wine, handcrafted cocktails, and fresh locally sourced proteins, cheeses, and produce when available. We feature hand stretched Neapolitan-style pizza made in our wood fired oven straight from Italy! Guests enjoy a relaxed and welcoming ambiance with contemporary and classic acoustic folk music. We also offer outdoor seating and a dog-friendly patio! The ultimate Adirondack hospitality experience!
