WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series Returns to Lake Placid

October 2–4, 2026

Lake Placid's legacy of world-class sporting competition continues as the region welcomes the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series back for its third year. In 2026, racers will compete in the final Downhill and Cross-country World Cup races of the World Series, crowning the year's overall champions.

These high-adrenaline competitions will be a thrill for spectators, featuring the top male and female mountain bike riders from around the world. In 2025, Mt Van Hoevenberg and Whiteface Mountain saw a combined 17,400 total attendance! Learn more and get your tickets!
