Jay Invitational of Clay
Norte Maar presents the 8th Annual Jay Invitational of Clay: an exhibition featuring a curated selection of local and regional works in clay. Curated by Jason Andrew and Ali Della Bitta, the exhibit is held on the grounds of The Jay House in Jay, NY. The exhibition kicks off with an opening reception on Thursday, August 13 from 6-9:00 p.m. The exhibition will continue Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This year’s event honors the legacy of founding artist Jackie Sabourin and will feature the first annual expo of quilts curated by Dawn Delmont.
This event is the longest running exhibition in the Adirondacks specifically focused on new works by local, regional, and national artists that explore form, function, and the vast creative potential of clay. Visitors will experience a wide range of works from the functional to the sculptural.
