Welcome to North Hudson, NY!

North Hudson is located right off of I-87, but it doesn’t take long for visitors to feel like they’re roughing it here. You'll find 45 tent camping sites and a host of amenities for campers and equestrians alike at Frontier Town Campground, Equestrian and Day Use Area. The campground is close to easy trails leading to stunning lakes and ponds, as well as challenging routes up our biggest mountains.

Besides Frontier Town, there are other campgrounds available in the area. Any of them are a perfect base camp for your Adirondack adventures!

Just down the road from the campground is Paradox Brewery. This impressive building features a large selection of beers on tap that were made on-site. Grab a sampler and step onto the deck to enjoy views of the High Peaks.

And speaking of the High Peaks, a short drive is all it takes to get to several trailheads that access these beautiful mountains. The Dix Range, Mount Marcy, Colden, and many others are all within reach, and so is the Boreas Ponds Tract, which serves up impressive views of the Great Range at the end of a relatively easy, but somewhat long, hike.
