A loop that circles three ponds with side trips to more. Beaver ponds and wide vistas. The side trail to Bass Lake (1.4 miles RT) features rock ledges, cliffs, and great fishing.
Moose Mountain Pond and Bass Lake Trailhead: Going north from the town of North Hudson on NY Route 9, 2.5 miles to the Caza Turn Road (County Route 4, the Ensign Pond Road.) Travel 2.75 miles east of Route 9 on Caza Turn Road.
